So I finally listened to the latest. I just need to say, Damn you girls can ramble!! but it's ok, I ate my dinner, and did some knitting while listening!
Val, I can't believe you told Juli about my super secret purchase!!! it's Ok though I think Juli respects me a little more knowing I got more than one thing!
Juli, if you wanna start a knitting group I'll be the first member! even though I live no where near Ohio, hey, you never know where the wind will take me these days.... I'm sure there are hospitals in Ohio.
and I totally feel your pain about the secret pal thing it just really sucks when you put effort into something and other people don't bother to do the same, it hurts, and it's not like you did it just to get gifts either, it's a cool idea and a good way to meet people and try out new things...
alrite I better start downloading some programs so I be ON the next podcast, you guys didn't mention anything about including the occasional knitter on the next one! I got things to talk about!

You guys are awesome :) lol
Found your podcast in a search on iTunes. Haven't gotten to the last episode, but I plan on knitting and listening to y'all ramble later tonight. Yay!
Oh, I'm kinda a neighbor too.... a fellow LI knitter with my own occasional knitter younger sister :)

Julianne,

I enjoy listening to the podcast. (By the way, you asked -- I found you on Itunes under "knittng".) I wish my sister was a knitter. I envy you all.

The reason I'm writing is about your move to Columbus. I had to laugh out loud when you were talking about being worried there were no knitting shops or groups in Columbus. I actually live in Indiana, about 2 hours from Columbus, but have been there many times.

Columbus is a huge city with a strong cultural background. Plus, it's the home of a major university (Ohio state). So there will be no lack of knitting for you. I don't know specifics, but the last time I checked, I think there are at least 3 or 4 knitting shops there. And in the summer, Columbus is the site of the Knitters Connection. Lots of classes taught by well-known knitters and designers, and authors' book signing night, and Lime and Violet even did a live podcast from the show!

I don't know what your city in Virginia is like, but I think you'll really like Columbus. Lots for everyone!
